Ojmar OTS40 & Pulse: How the Integration with Locker Visual Control Works

Do you operate Ojmar OTS40 (OTS 40) lock cylinders with Ojmar Pulse activated? Then Locker Visual Control reads the occupancy data directly via the Ojmar Cloud API and shows it to your guests live on every screen, with no additional hardware.

Ojmar OTS40 and Ojmar Pulse: two terms, one locking system

Ojmar OTS40, also found spelled as "OTS 40" or occasionally "ORTS40", is the electronic lock cylinder series by Spanish manufacturer Ojmar. It is used in lockers in pools, spas, gyms, and leisure facilities.

Ojmar Pulse (also called OTS Pulse) is the associated cloud radio technology. Only with Pulse activated do your OTS40 locks send every opening and closing nearly in real time to the Ojmar Cloud API, the data foundation for Locker Visual Control.

How Locker Visual Control uses the Ojmar Cloud API

The integration is purely software-based. No additional wiring, no new lock cylinder, and no on-site server are needed, provided your Ojmar OTS40 / Pulse installation is already set up to be cloud-capable.

1

Ojmar OTS40 / Pulse locks

Every OTS40 lock reports its open/closed status to Ojmar via the active Pulse cloud function.

2

Ojmar Cloud API

Locker Visual Control retrieves the occupancy data via the official Ojmar Cloud API and maps it to your actual changing room structure.

3

Live display

Every screen shows Ojmar OTS40 / Pulse locker occupancy as a green (free) or red (occupied) tile in locked fullscreen mode.

Without active Ojmar Pulse, even an Ojmar OTS40 (OTS 40 / ORTS40) lock does not provide real-time data. Purely offline models such as OTS 20 / OTS Advance are also not compatible. Not sure? Just get in touch and we will check it together.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Ojmar OTS40 / Pulse Integration

What is Ojmar OTS40 (OTS 40)?
Ojmar OTS40, also written as "OTS 40" or occasionally "ORTS40", is an electronic lock cylinder series by manufacturer Ojmar for lockers in pools, spas, and leisure facilities. Combined with Ojmar Pulse, the locks transmit their status to the Ojmar cloud.
What is Ojmar Pulse and how does it relate to OTS40?
Ojmar Pulse (also OTS Pulse) is the cloud radio technology that connects Ojmar OTS40 locks to the internet. Only with Pulse activated do OTS40 locks send their open/closed status to the Ojmar Cloud API in real time, the foundation for Locker Visual Control.
How exactly does Locker Visual Control access the Ojmar Cloud API?
Locker Visual Control retrieves the occupancy data of your Ojmar OTS40 / Pulse locks via the official Ojmar Cloud API and maps it to your changing room structure, with no additional hardware, wiring, or intervention in your locking system.
Is Ojmar OTS 40 the same as ORTS40 or OTS40?
Yes. "OTS40", "OTS 40", and the occasional spelling "ORTS40" all refer to the same Ojmar lock series. What matters for compatibility with Locker Visual Control is not the spelling, but the active Ojmar Pulse cloud connection.
Does the integration also work without Ojmar Pulse?
No. Without an active Pulse cloud function, the OTS40 lock does not send real-time data to the Ojmar Cloud API, and Locker Visual Control cannot display live locker occupancy. Purely offline models such as OTS 20 / OTS Advance are therefore not compatible.
